Institute of Advanced Management and Technology, Meerut, was established in the year 2008 as a Meerut-affiliated college in Uttar Pradesh. It spreads over an area of 8 acres of land. IAMT offers a number of engineering courses to the aspiring students. IAMT is a co-educational institute, meaning male and female students study together. The college is fully committed to providing quality technical education and making the students professionally sound in their respective fields of study.

Institute of Advanced Management and Technology is affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. Institute of Advanced Management and Technology has available a variety of facilities supporting student life and their academic pursuits. The institute offers separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls; these are equipped with all basic amenities along with security measures. A well-stocked library acts as the academic backbone, maintaining more than 5,000 books on technical, scientific, and humanities topics. The campus is equipped with ultra-modern, well-furnished laboratories for physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, and electronic engineering in order to provide practical learning experiences. IAMT has a fully equipped gymnasium and sports such as badminton, basketball, volleyball, hockey, football, cricket, and many more for overall development of the physical well-being of students. Medical care is also ensured to be given on the campus by a full-time doctor, and transport facilities are provided for day scholars.

Institute of Advanced Management and Technology offers three full-time B.Tech programmes. Under the B.Tech category, the institute comprises three types of courses with 60 seats in each course, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Information Technology. The duration of these programmes is four years. These programmes are offered in different branches of engineering to provide students with a variety of options in their careers associated with the field of technology. The total intake for students in all courses is 180. This is a relatively small intake and provides a good enough student-faculty ratio for personalised attention and quality education.

Admission is done largely through national and state-level entrance exam. Scores for entrance at the national level are accepted from JEE Mains. The admission process at IAMT would, therefore, involve the selection of students based on the best ranks in these standardised tests, so that admissions at IAMT are absolutely fair and purely merit-based as well. IAMT’s focus on quality technical education is substantiated by well-equipped facilities and a variety of courses offered.     IAMT has separate girls hostel. The rooms are well furnished with beds, chairs table etc. Facility of generators and pumps are available so that uninterrupted water and electricity be provided to the students. The hostel also has gym and computer centre facility. Special care is made to give necessary privacy, security and safety to girl hostellers. Air coolers are available to students on demand with extra payments.
  • Medical/Hospital
    The institute provides medical facilities to all the students by having a full-time Doctor available within the campus, in case of emergency special facilities are also provided.

    A sound body has a sound mind; the college is keen on the physical fitness of the students. The college provides a well-equipped gymnasium to the students so that they can do exercise for their physical fitness.

It has also an Audio-Visual facility. The entire library has enough sitting space and open all days for students and staff.

    Institute provides Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball courts and playgrounds for Hockey Football and Cricket to the students. Various sports meets are organized every year.
  • I.T Infrastructure
    The computer centre fulfils the academic, research and administrative requirements of the institute and manage the institute gateway to the internet. The college is well equipped with sufficient number of P 4 systems to accommodate the students. Computer lab provides the latest available software’s in a most modern setup. The computer center remains open all the days, enabling students to work for long hours. The main aim of the college is to prepare each an every student for the professional job market.
  • Cafeteria
    Messing facility is provided to all the hostellers. The meals include breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner. The mess is on the contract basis but under the full control of college authority. The selected student’s representatives of hostel supervise the mess and according to taste and needs and availability, they prepare a nutritious menu and display on the notice board.

    Transport facility is provided to the day scholars on demand by paying the extra fee for transportation. Buses pick up students from key points of the city.

    PHYSICS LAB.: Physics Lab. Is in a spacious hall and it has all the modern scientific instruments as per requirement of U.P.Technical University. Physics lab is also provided with spacious dark room with latest optical instruments. CHEMISTRY LAB:- The lab is equipped with modern equipment and instruments required for different exercises. The lab has a separate balance room and store room. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING LAB :- Mechanical lab is having latest machines such as 2-stroke /4-stroke S1/SL engine models, different models of boilers (LAN shire, Locomotive, Babcock- Wilcox boilers);steam engine, turbine models , hardness and impact testing machines, fiat engine, refrigeration etc. ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING LAB:- Electronic lab is fully equipped with required equipments. Induction motors, generators, transformers and measuring instruments, cut through and see through models, charts etc. are provided in the lab.

    The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
