Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Pharmacy College situated in Cherthala of Alappuzha district is one of the leading centre of pharmaceutical education in the state of Kerala, India was established in the year 2004. This affiliated college lies in Valamangalam P.O. South, Thuravoor and occupies 2 acres of land which go well to provide concentration for the future pharmacists. The college is recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to maintain high standard of education for the course pharmacy. It has a total 12 experienced professional faculties in practice, which aims to deliver well disciplined and spoken and quality education and practical knowledge to the students.

Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Pharmacy College has various facilities to boost up the learning ability of the students that would be inappropriately categorised into modern equipments. A richness of literature is supported by a range of effective facilities stocked with the necessary literature, accompanied by practical laboratory facilities with modern equipment that improves learning in pharmaceutical sciences. In order to facilitate the outstation students and to provide them the best comfort, the campus has boys hostels as well as girls hostels. An auditorium assists in conducting of various academic and cultural activities hence improving the students’ productive campus life. There is also a health centre that makes provision for first aid facilities as the college empowers the health of students. In this respect, there are well-equipped sports grounds for the student’s complete personality development, physical well being as well as their academic achievements. At present, Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Pharmacy College provide its basic course of Diploma in Pharmacy(D.Pharma). This offered programme takes two years and is takes full-time; GSM empowers the students with knowledge and practical understanding of pharmacy practice.
