Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Sangli was established in 2006. The college is one of the reputed constituent colleges in Maharashtra, India. The co-educational institution is located over 5.1415 acres affiliated with Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, and approved by DCI. At present, the institution offers undergraduate and postgraduate levels of courses in dentistry with a total enrolement of 506 students. This institute boasts a faculty strength of 62 members and maintains a very commendable student-to-faculty ratio. The college ensures a balanced gender environment by admitting 72% females at the undergraduate level and 70% at the postgraduate level.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Sangli offers a total of 7 courses across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At the undergraduate level, there is the flagship course in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with intake of 100 students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers 6 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes, each with 3 seats. These specializations include Prosthodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, and Periodontics. All programmes are full-time courses to ensure concentrated and dedicated dental education.

Admission to Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Sangli is purely based on merit, passing through a standardised procedure. For the BDS course, admission is based on performance in NEET-UG. Similarly, selections for the MDS programmes will be made through NEET MDS.
