Affordable pharma start, decent uni choice.

Infrastructure at SLT Institute for BPharma is decent for a govt college in Bilaspur. Labs got good equipment for pharma experiments, like machines for tablets and stuff.
Library big with books and online journals, WiFi free but slow sometimes. Hostels clean for boys and girls, mess food okay but spicy. Classrooms large for 70 students, no AC though, hot in summer. Sports ground and auditorium there for events. Overall, helps practical learning well.

Academics in BPharma is solid, teachers mostly qualified and teach pharma chemistry, drugs well. Curriculum follows PCI, includes projects and seminars on new meds. Attendance strict, exams moderate but practicals tough. Faculty helpful if you ask doubts, some seminars from experts. Not super advanced but good basics for career. Research opps if interested. Fine for central uni level.

College Infra

Infrastructure at SLT Institute for BPharma is decent for a govt college in Bilaspur. Labs got good equipment for pharma experiments, like machines for tablets and stuff. Library big with books and online journals, WiFi free but slow sometimes. Hostels clean for boys and girls, mess food okay but spicy. Classrooms large for 70 students, no AC though, hot in summer. Sports ground and auditorium there for events. Overall, helps practical learning well.

Campus Life

Campus life at GGU SLT fun, big green area with fests, cultural events and pharma clubs. Mix crowd from Chhattisgarh and outside, friends easy. Sports like cricket, gym available, canteen cheap at 10 rs meal. Bilaspur quiet, weekends to city. Seniors guide newbies, but curfew early for girls. Balanced with studies, not too party but enjoyable. Liked the seminars and trips.

Placements

Placements for BPharma okay, about 25-30 percent get campus jobs from companies like Apollo Hospital, Mecloids Pharma. Average salary 2-4 LPA, highest around 6 LPA for good ones. Many do 6 month internship in hospitals, then jobs as pharmacist 5k-11k monthly in Bilaspur. No big drives, depends on skills and networking. Placement cell tries but not great. Better self search.

Value For Money

Fees low, about 1.18 lakh total for 4 years, cheap for govt uni. You get labs, library and hostels for that, no hidden costs. Stipend in internship sometimes. Compared to private colleges, super value if you study hard. But low placements mean work extra for jobs. Hostel extra 7k year. Good deal for budget students, high ROI in pharma field. Worth joining.

Department of Pharmacy Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Bilaspur provides its students with a wide range of amenities. The SLT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Bilaspur facilities include hostels for girls and boys, libraries, medical facilities and a lot more. 

The Department of Pharmacy Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Bilaspur facilities are designed to be the most beautiful, bio-aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally pure campus, spanning 655 acres, enhanced by a clean and fresh atmosphere. Additionally, the Department of Pharmacy Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Bilaspur hospital facilities are equipped to address the healthcare needs of the campus community.

    The college provides 3 hostels for boys and provides accommodation to approximately 800 boys. The institution wants to give its students a home away from home by offering them comfortable housing and boarding services.

With a capacity of over 500 persons at a time, the structure has an inventory of approximately 128000 books, more than 400 back volumes of periodicals, and likely 1500 doctoral theses.

    The Department of Pharmacy Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Bilaspur includes a fully equipped sports centre to support young athletes.
