Katuri Medical College and Hospital, established in the year 2002, is one of the prime medical hubs in Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. It’s a co-educational institute that offers different types of medical courses with as many as 19 courses in 5 degree levels. KMCH is an affiliated college to the National Medical Commission and NMC, besides the Indian Nursing Council by the same token, thus ensuring very high-quality medical education. Providing guidelines and mentorship to the students are 162 experts results from the faculty base available with the college. There is a range of academic and personal development facilities that Katuri Medical College and Hospital makes available to the students. Students have the opportunity to live in separate hostel facilities for males and another distinct one for female students on the college campus with basic furniture and facilities. A well-stocked library of over 15,000 books and journals with digital resources supported with internet access through N.T.R.MEDNET Consortium. The college is strong on health care with a health center in the campus that offers first-aid services. KMCH maintains both indoor and outdoor sports facilities with a gymnasium for physical fitness. It also has a state-of-the-art Central Research Laboratory toward fostering medical research and innovation.
The institute runs medical courses right from undergraduate through postgraduate and super-speciality; among these, the flagship course is MBBS for intake of 150 seats. Various MD and MS programmes are also offered through this college, where one specialises in anaesthesiology, general medicine, general surgery, and obstetrics and gynecology. Besides, KMCH also provides super-speciality courses in DM Cardiology and M.Ch Urology, along with bachelors’ and masters’ nursing programmes. A total of 19 full-time courses are offered by the college in various medical fields, to provide diverse medical education of specialisation.

- Boys Hostel
Separate hostel facilities are available for boys. Essential furniture such as a bed, study table, chair and cupboard is provided for each student. A hostel is a place where the students mingle with all cultures with simultaneous advancement in their academics, character and career. Hostels are equipped with the well maintained reading room, Recreation Room and Indoor Game Facility. Water coolers with water source from Reverse Osmosis Treatment plants are installed on all floors of both the hostels. College authorities have ensured complete safety and security inside the hostels. Students get an opportunity to meet people of varied nature and a feeling of friendship and oneness prevails all over.

The college has health center with first aid facility for the students.

KMCH has a well-maintained library where a large collection of texts and reference books and Indian and foreign journals in every branch of medicine are at the disposal of the students and staff along with newspapers and magazines. 15,226 books and journals have been entered in the library till May 2014. The library space is 3,300 Sq.m. With two reading rooms the seating capacity of 200 each for Under Graduate students. Separate reading rooms are provided for Post Graduate Students and Faculty. This place inculcates the habit of regular reading and reference making to unobtrusive readers. Video CD and other modern aids add to the techniques of dissemination of Medicine. The college library works from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Reading Room facilities provided round the clock. Computers with internet facility in the Library help to contact international institutions, events and keep in touch with the developments in various branches of medicine and also to access journals through N.T.R.MEDNET consortium.

Being students of the professional college, in spite of the demand for their time and effort for studies, medical students, do contribute to sports and games. We have indoor and outdoor sports facility in the college. The indoor sports.

Way to a person`s heart goes through his stomach. Mess facilities at KMCH take care of this by providing a nutritious food to the college students, staff and guests and Patients. The mess takes a special care of health and hygiene. It is well designed with dining halls and kitchens. Food in the kitchen is cooked on steam which is good for health and also economical.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
- Transport Facility
Transportation facility at KMC is prompt and up-to-date. We have 25 buses to facilitate transportation for the college staff, students and also the patients.

Gymnasium on the college campus can be used by 16 people at a time.

A unique Central Research Laboratory to help medical fraternity was inaugurated on the premises of Katuri Medical College in Guntur on Saturday. Formally declaring it open, Director of Medical Education T. Ravi Raju said there are 14 Government medical colleges apart from 22 colleges in private sector in the State.
