Established on a 2.5 acre area, the college has a total strength of 321 students and 33 faculty members. The institute has three full time Course, B.ED, M.ED, D.EL.ED etc for the student for teaching profession at different standard. This college is primarily involved in the training of teachers and thus the primary institution that is able to determine the future trends of education in the region.
Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial college of Education boasts of a variety and availability of facilities to complement the learning of all students. Also importantly the organisation offers hostel accommodation separately for boys and girls, the boy’s host is at 1.5 kms of distance from the institute and provides comfortable accommodation to the out-station students.
