Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Institute of Science, Commerce, and Management, Mysore, is an affiliated college located in Mysuru, Karnataka State, which was started in 2005. Located in a small 2-acre area, the institute has developed various undergraduate courses in science, commerce, and management. Currently, the institute has a total of thirty-seven students and a total of ten faculty members, which provides an intimate learning environment. The college delivers 5 courses in 3 degree programmes and is an educational institution concentrating on physics, electronics, biotechnology, business administration, and commerce.

Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Institute of Science, Commerce, and Management has a number of facilities that can be used by students and contribute to enhancing their learning process. The school library is one of the centralised sources of academic requirements, stocked with reference books, text books, i-banks, and research documents. Students can access this facility in the course of the day to improve on their study and research skills. There are opportunities for those who love indoor and outdoor activities. The college has installed facilities for carom, chess, throw-ball, basketball, cricket, table tennis, and lawn tennis.

A good number of students are involved in activities at a 500-seat auditorium for events and seminars to enhance the academic life. The microbiology, biotechnology, and biochemistry science departments have well-furnished laboratories with professional faculty members. Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Institute of PG Studies and Research provides a total number of five full time courses only. These include three Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) programmes: POMCS, EMCS, and BMCS. Also, the institute delivers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). All these courses are 3-year courses to equip the students with adequate knowledge in their areas of specialisation. Although the number of seats fixed for each programme has not been described clearly, the institute boasts of a student’s intake of 37 students per batch, which definitely supports a comfortable student-faculty ratio, which can encourage the faculty to interact effectively with the students.
