Sri Vekkaliamman College of Education possesses various learning resources which are aimed at improving the learning process of the college’s learners. The school has a functional library stocked with a wide range of books from both national and international publishing companies. The college boasts of best equipped laboratories is the physical Science laboratory, Biological laboratory, Psychological laboratory, the Educational Laboratory Technology laboratory among others. A modern Language Laboratory for twenty students at once is devoted to the development of the spoken English. The College has Physical Science - To provide maximum pupil activity, practical work is made a prominent feature in the B.Ed. Course. The Physical Science Laboratory of the college has a good collection of both Physics and Chemistry working and static models, equipment, apparatus, and chemicals, related to high and higher secondary levels. The laboratory provides practical training to student teachers on different occasions. Biological Laboratory - The college has an ICT Centre that can accommodate 20 students at a time. The centre is maintained by a qualified staff, who also conduct theory and practical classes for the students. The Centre is available during and after class hours. Psychology Laboratory - A Psychology Laboratory is maintained by the college, in which experiments in Psychology are conducted as part of the B.Ed. Practical Curriculum Educational Technology Laboratory - This centre has LCD and OHP projectors, slide projectors, and other equipment to aid the teaching-learning process. Under the guidance of a qualified Audio Visual Technician, student teachers make use of the centre for instructional training. Language Laboratory - To actively involve students in English learning, the Language Laboratory has been developed, which can accommodate 20 students at a time.
