NEET PG Qualification

MBBS Degree Recognition

The MBBS degree must be from an NMC-recognised medical college. Candidates who qualified from universities outside Tamil Nadu must obtain an eligibility certificate from the Directorate of Medical Education at Park Town, Chennai-32.

Medical Council Registration

Candidates must hold a permanent or provisional registration certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a recognised State Medical Council.

Internship Completion

The mandatory one-year compulsory rotating internship must be completed. Candidates must have their internship completion certificate available at the time of NEET PG counselling registration.

Payment of the Counselling Fee

Security Deposit Refund Policy

Counselling Round 1

Category-Wise Reservation in Tamil Nadu State Quota

NEET PG counselling follows the state’s official reservation policy for government quota seats:

• Backward Class (BC): As per Tamil Nadu government reservation norms

Service Bond Requirements

It has a specific bond policy for service candidates. Candidates recruited by TNPSC or MRB must have completed a minimum of two years of service as of March 31, 2025 to be eligible for counselling.

Discontinuation Fee
