What It Means for Students, Parents and Teachers

Candidates who have received a qualifying result can start preparing for the counselling stage. Candidates should keep the downloaded scorecard safely because the document may be required during admission and counselling.

AIAPGET 2026 counselling does not take place through NTA. NTA’s information bulletin clearly assigns counselling responsibilities to the respective counselling authorities. AACCC handles counselling for All India Quota seats in government, government-aided, national institutions, central universities and deemed universities covered by its process. State and Union Territory authorities handle their respective quota seats.

Candidates should check their AIR, percentile, category and qualifying status before making counselling choices. Meeting the AIAPGET qualifying cutoff does not provide an automatic right to admission. Candidates must also satisfy the applicable eligibility, internship, reservation and document-verification requirements.

AIAPGET 2026 Counselling After Result

The AIAPGET 2026 counselling process will follow the result declaration. AACCC’s current PG counselling page states that qualified AIAPGET 2026 candidates seeking admission to PG MD/MS-ASU & H programmes should register through the AACCC website for the counselling process applicable to AIQ seats. The committee also states that counselling fees, including the applicable registration fee and refundable security deposit, must be paid during registration.

The detailed 2026–27 AACCC PG counselling schedule has not been posted on the current counselling schedule page. The official page currently shows no documents under the PG counselling schedule section.

Candidates should not treat unofficial counselling dates circulating on social media or coaching websites as confirmed dates. NTA’s bulletin directs candidates to follow official notices for result, scorecard and counselling updates.

Additional Useful Information

AIAPGET 2026 scores apply to admission for the 2026–27 academic session, unless the competent authority issues another notification. The NTA bulletin also states that there is no provision for re-checking, re-evaluation or re-totaling of the result after declaration.
