NEW DELHI – The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the NEET choice filling 2025 deadline for Round-1 of NEET UG Counselling, providing crucial relief to thousands of aspiring medical students. This decision follows requests from NRI/CW candidates and ongoing court cases, demonstrating MCC’s commitment to ensuring fair participation in the NEET choice filling 2025 process.

MCC announced the revised schedule on August 8, 2025, giving candidates additional time to make informed decisions about their preferred medical colleges through this extended NEET choice filling 2025 window. The extension represents a significant opportunity for students to carefully evaluate their options and maximize their chances of securing admission to their desired institutions.

Revised Schedule for Round-1 Counselling:

  • Choice Filling: 6:30 PM, Aug 8 → 11:59 PM, Aug 9

  • Choice Locking: 6:00 PM → 11:59 PM, Aug 9

  • Result Declaration: Aug 11, 2025

Candidates must complete their choice filling within the extended window. The MCC website will process all selections according to the server time.
