NPAT 2026 Important Dates for BBA Admission You Can’t Miss

Student checking the NPAT 2026 admission schedule and important BBA application dates.

Introduction

Getting into NMIMS for a BBA programme is a dream for thousands of students across India. But here’s the hard truth, even the most prepared students can lose their seat simply by missing a deadline. NPAT 2026 important dates are not optional reading. They are your entire admission roadmap.

NPAT, short for the National Test for Programs After Twelfth, is the official entrance exam that SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) conducts for undergraduate programmes such as BBA, B.Com, and B.Sc. Finance, and more. Over 80,000 students appear for this exam each year, competing for seats across NMIMS campuses in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Chandigarh, and Dhule.

This article compiles every critical date from the official NMIMS 2026 Information Bulletin so you know exactly where you stand in the admission process.

What Is NPAT and Why It Matters for BBA Admission

NPAT is the gateway to NMIMS — one of India’s most respected private universities for commerce and management. Admission to BBA programmes like BBA (General), BBA in Branding & Advertising, BBA in International Business, BBA Finance, and the integrated BBA+MBA (5-year) programme all depend on your NPAT score.

There is no Group Discussion or Personal Interview. Admission depends entirely on merit, so your NPAT 2026 exam schedule and preparation timeline matter greatly.

  • Shortlisted candidates receive a counselling call letter via the official portal.
  • There is no GD or PI round. Admission is entirely score-based.
  • Candidates applying only for Indore, Hyderabad, or Chandigarh campuses can attend a local counselling round at those campuses (announced in June) to avoid travelling to Mumbai.
