For BBA and commerce aspirants, this result is the starting point, not the finish line. The score on your scorecard now determines which colleges you can realistically target during the CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) and direct admission rounds.

More than 280 universities are participating in CUET UG 2026, including 48 central universities, 39 state universities, 26 deemed universities, 113-plus private universities, and 7 government institutions. All 90 colleges affiliated to Delhi University accept CUET scores for UG admissions. The challenge is not finding colleges that accept CUET. It is identifying which ones genuinely serve your BBA or commerce career goal.

This blog maps the complete college list for BBA and commerce courses through CUET 2026, organised by score band, with cutoff expectations, fees, and placement context.

Understanding What CUET Unlocks for BBA and Commerce

CUET opens undergraduate admissions across three distinct college categories: central universities, state and deemed universities, and private universities.

For BBA aspirants, the primary subject requirement is the CUET General Test alongside English. Some universities additionally require Business Studies or Economics as domain subjects. Always verify each college’s specific subject requirement on their official admissions portal before submitting preferences in CSAS.

For BCom aspirants, Accountancy and Business Studies are typically the domain subjects required alongside English. SRCC, one of India’s most coveted commerce destinations, specifically requires English, Mathematics, and one additional elective for BCom (Hons) admission.

The scoring system uses a marks-out-of-250 format per subject, with plus 5 for correct answers and minus 1 for wrong answers. A score of 700-plus marks out of 1000 is required for top DU colleges. A 90-plus percentile is considered competitive for mid-tier DU commerce and management programs.

CSAS 2026: How DU Admission Works After CUET Result

For Delhi University, admission does not happen directly through CUET scores. It happens through the CSAS, the Common Seat Allocation System, on the DU UG admissions portal.

After the CUET 2026 result, the steps are sequential. Register on the DU CSAS portal. Fill your program and college preferences in order of priority. Lock your choices before the CSAS deadline.

Seat allotment rounds are then conducted based on CUET scores and CSAS preferences. Candidates who receive an allotment must confirm it online and report to the college for document verification.

DU conducts multiple CSAS rounds. Candidates allotted in Round 1 can upgrade to a better college or program in subsequent rounds if seats open up. This mechanism is important: a candidate who receives Keshav BMS in Round 1 should not immediately accept if they are also competitive for SSCBS in Round 2.

For Non-DU universities accepting CUET scores, each institution conducts its own merit list or counselling process independently of CSAS. Candidates must monitor individual university portals for announcement timelines.
